J. Crew's new upper echelon/ LUXE line is hip, fun, and chalk full of colors---- but expensive!
Coach has neat retro (classic) bags in colors such as white, vermillion, etc. at net-a-porter.com (you can find old hand bags such as the one below on ebay & for much less)
